LPN Nurse | $33.55 per hour (Pinckney, MI)

Off of M-36, between US-23 and M-52, we are just minutes away from Ann Arbor, Chelsea, and Dexter. Our skilled nurses provide specialized care to patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology.

About the role

You will be empowered to assess patient needs and implement care as you deem necessary, utilizing the latest technology and being part of a strong interdisciplinary team. You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors. • Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families on medication changes, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed at the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including direction, assignments, training, and contributions to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Pay

• Starting wage: $30.15 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay, totaling $33.55 per hour.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, all shifts include rotating weekends plus some holidays.
