About the role

Our Skilled Nursing team provides specialized care to patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team. The facility is located north of Grand Rapids downtown area, near Comstock Park/Walker, just 2 miles north of I‑96 and 3 miles west of US‑131 at 1050 4 Mile Road NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544. This is a full‑ or part‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement.
• Perform treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients/families on medication, treatment plan and condition changes.
• Provide preventative and supportive care for physiologic and psychosocial well‑being.
• Oversee the CNA team: give direction/assignments, offer training, contribute to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in Michigan.
• Current CPR‑BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• Strong analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and solve difficult well‑being problems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting teammates and getting the job done.
