About the role
Novice Nurse – Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with less than 12 months of experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and document progress.
- Respond to changes in patient condition and communicate updates to supervisors or physicians.
- Coordinate and document care collaboration with healthcare team.
- Ensure safety of environment and equipment, adhering to universal precautions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Active LPN/LVN license and current CPR certification.
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
Training & Support
- Participate in a specialized program providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and real-time feedback by partnering with an experienced nurse.
- Gain skills in direct patient care, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking with 24/7 clinical support.
