Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Practice Manager or RN, provide care for patients and families utilizing age-appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to practice specialty
• Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency
• Address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers
• Manage patient care assignments and other organizational tasks related to office operations
• Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions
• Supervise students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training

Qualifications

Required: Licensed Practical Nurse (Diploma)

Desired: One year in an acute care setting
