Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Practice Manager or RN, provide care for patients and families utilizing age-appropriate principles of growth and development for all ages according to practice specialty.
• Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency.
• Address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers.
• Manage patient care assignments and other organizational tasks related to office operations.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
• Supervise students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.

Qualifications

Required: Diploma, Licensed Practical Nurse

Desired: One year in an acute care setting
