LPN NOC Nurse

Responsibilities

• Aid in the Admission/Discharge process
• Complete accident/incident reports, conduct follow-up investigations
• Transcribe physician orders, document resident information, notify physicians and families as necessary
• Review and verify medication orders for completeness and accuracy
• Learn and be flexible with the Electronic Medical Record system
• Administer medication as prescribed by the physician
• Be familiar with and participate in the Care Planning Process, attending Care conferences and updating as needed
• Maintain a good working relationship with all departments to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Participate in continuing education programs
• Hold a valid license to practice as an RN/LPN in this state
• Communicate tactfully with various stakeholders including personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
