About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed healthcare professional. Ensures professional accountability for assigned patients, coordinating care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and safeguard patient information.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education and successful licensure.
• Current LPN license, compliant with state Board of Nursing requirements.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
• LPN-IV certification completed prior to or within three months of hire for applicable states.
