About the role
Park Nicollet is seeking LPNs and Medical Assistants to join their Dermatology team. This role is open to LPNs or Medical Assistants and offers a unique combination of collaboration and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Provides practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards, and PNHS policy.
- Ensures safe and effective nursing care by promoting a safe, therapeutic environment and advocating for the best interests of individual patients.
- Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility, while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.
- Works in dermatology, which fosters a supportive, team-centered culture with strong relationships among providers, staff, and leadership.
- Works Tuesday through Friday, with occasional floating to the St. Louis Park site for provider coverage.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained.
- Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Minnesota license to practice as a LPN or MA.
- Must maintain current BLS certification.
