About the role
Supports the medical team in providing patient care in a family practice setting. Assists with administrative tasks and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient examinations and documentation
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Provide patient education on health management and medication usage
- Handle front desk duties including scheduling and billing
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA)
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
