LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT- Midwives, Women's Services
Position Summary
Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, aids providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies. As part of our team, you will be providing care for patients which may include the following duties:
- Escorting patients to exam rooms and appropriately documenting visit information such as height, weight, and blood pressure.
- Preparing and administering medications and immunizations' as directed by the clinician.
- Ensuring all the components of the standard rooming process are completed.
- Maintaining knowledge of, and complying with, all relevant laws regulations and policies, procedures and standards.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. Online BLS certification is not acceptable.
- This role requires a BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. Online BLS certification is not acceptable.
- One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
- Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
