LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT
About the role
Park Nicollet is seeking LPNs, Medical Assistants, and EMTs to join their Primary Care team. This role involves providing care for patients, including escorting them to exam rooms, preparing and administering medications, performing procedures, and ensuring the standard rooming process is completed.
Responsibilities
- Escorting patients to exam rooms and documenting necessary visit information and vitals.
- Preparing and administering medications and immunizations as directed.
- Performing and assisting with various procedures and treatments as directed by clinicians.
- Maintaining medication reconciliation, allergy reviews, and immunization reconciliations.
- Completing appropriate forms and questionnaires to support clinical quality.
- Maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements
- BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, required and maintained.
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing, Medical Assisting program, or EMT program.
- Current state license of practical nursing, or Minnesota EMT License.
- One or more years of healthcare experience preferred, preferably in a related field of medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of healthcare experience.
