About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support under the direction of a Registered Nurse and licensed provider in an acute care hospital setting. The LPN assists with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within the scope of practice defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards.
- Perform basic nursing care and clinical procedures
- Monitor patient status
- Support unit operations
- Contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and coordinated patient care across the hospital
- Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times
- Other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements
- Completion of an approved LPN course (Required)
- Vocational/Technical School/Diploma (Required)
- Completion of a 30-hour IV Certification Course (Preferred)
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- State of Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)
