LPN - Med Surg, Nights

Position Details

Mercy Hospital South Night Shift - 7:00pm - 7:30am

$2,000 Sign on Bonus!

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state where nursing duties are performed.
• Certifications: Required One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position, unit assignment, or must be obtained within the department’s specified timeframe: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), PEARs (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization), S.T.A.B.L.E. Program (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association (required within 30 days of hire).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout each shift; ability to perform essential physical functions, including gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to carry out job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• LPN-IV Certification (Missouri only) – must be completed prior to hire or within 3 months of hire.
• Additional unit-specific certifications as required.
