LPN - Med/Surg - Full Time, Night

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional or Registered Nurse (RN). They are responsible for maintaining patient rights, confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments. The role requires current licensure, successful completion of an accredited practical nursing program, and adherence to state Board of Nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following established protocols
• Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients
• Cookordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Current LPN license and compliance with state licensing requirements
• PREFERRED: Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials
• PHYSICAL ABILITY: Lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, and kneeling
