About the Role
Provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring actions align with professional standards. Administers intravenous therapy and medications according to state regulations, maintaining patient safety and autonomy. Communicates and collaborates with nurses to collect data, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Reinforces patient education and participates in activities to improve healthcare delivery and ongoing education. Completes assigned goals and duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of IV therapy training per state board regulations or equivalent education from an accredited program
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire
- Computer literacy
