About the role

This role involves providing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including administering intravenous therapy and medications in accordance with state nursing regulations. The individual fosters a caring relationship to support health, healing, and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with the nursing team
• Collecting patient data
• Assisting in planning and implementing care
• Evaluating care plans
• Providing patient education
• Assisting with continuous improvement activities
• Achieving assigned goals

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum IV therapy training per Board of Nursing regulations
• 6 months of experience and successful IV therapy training for TN
• Completion of accredited IV therapy program or Board-approved course for MS
• Current BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
• Computer literacy
