Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. Across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses.
About the role
Primary duty is to provide skilled nursing services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or medical doctor, and to provide a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Services include assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person-centered services using specialized knowledge and skills, and management of client risk and safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Florida
- Certified in CPR
- Able to effectively perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training
- Able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families
- Able to use a computer
- Eligible to participate in state or federally funded programs such as Medicaid
- Able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
- Possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy
Pay
Base pay ranges between $23.5846 to $25.4279 per hour. Salary is based on experience.
