About the role
Clive Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position is part-time and works evenings from 7:00pm to 11:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist with daily patient care activities including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with hygiene routines.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan of care.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all interactions.
Requirements
- Current Iowa LPN license in good standing.
- Experience in a psych nursing setting preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a licensed practical nurse program.
