Responsibilities
- Put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care
- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, deliver a full range of nursing care, including but not limited to:
- Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents
- Conducting daily rounds to observe the resident’s physical and emotional status
- Medication administration
- Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information
- Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment
Requirements
- Must have LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Nice to have
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
