LPN - LTC - FT - Night w/rotation as needed - Every other weekend -$5,000 Sign On Bonus

Under the supervision of the physician, assesses, plans, and administers direct patient care in the office. Performs a wide variety of nursing functions and is primarily responsible for supervision of the clinical area, patient education, and—with physician supervision—answers patients' medical questions, reviews all laboratory and test reports, and handles medical emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the clinical area
• Provide patient education
• Answer patients’ medical questions under physician supervision
• Review laboratory and test reports
• Handle medical emergencies
• Perform computer tasks including nursing notes, history & physicals (H&P’s), and scheduling
• Complete pre-authorization and chart maintenance for lap banding procedures

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of practice policies and procedures
• Excellent overall knowledge of the medical office setting
• At least two years of experience in a specialty services clinic or physician office
