LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse - Private Duty (Days & Overnight)
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a passionate, dedicated Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Louisville, TN. Our Private Duty LPNs provide expert, patient-centered care in a supportive and fulfilling environment.
About the Role
This is a full-time position offering both day and overnight shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The role focuses on 1:1 care for adult patients, with preference given to candidates experienced in trach and G-tube care.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 care for clients following their plan of care while maintaining dignity and independence.
- Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed, and assess results.
- Accurately document nursing actions, care provided, and communication with family, case managers, and physicians.
- Document progress and outcomes for established goals, and report changes in the client’s medical condition.
- Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to ensure adequate amounts are always available.
- Ensure all patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
Requirements
- LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted state license.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
- CPR professional certification.
- 1+ years of nursing experience preferred.
- Home health care experience preferred.
