About the role
A position geared for resourceful individuals who are skilled in assisting and providing support to assigned physicians and nurse practitioners, conducting medical screenings, administering medications, as needed, coordinating referrals to primary care providers and/or health department to consumers while they are attending various programs at HCS, obtaining, reviewing, and reporting laboratory results in a timely manner and entering accurate consumer information into the Electronic Health Record System.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and providing support to assigned physicians and nurse practitioners
- Conducting medical screenings
- Administering medications, as needed
- Cooking referrals to primary care providers and/or health department to consumers
- Obtaining, reviewing, and reporting laboratory results in a timely manner
- Entering accurate consumer information into the Electronic Health Record System
Requirements
- Current/Active License as an LPN with the privilege to practice in the State of Virginia
- Experience in Psychiatric setting with adults and/or children and adolescents preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current LPN license from the State of Virginia

Pay
$18.50 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with education/experience
Schedule
Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday
