LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) Charge Nurse

About the role

Camden Health and Rehabilitation is a 135-bed skilled nursing facility seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs, Med Aides, and other staff.
• Carefully coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, and implement nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident's condition and/or prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
• Ensure floor staff accurately document all ADLs performed for their shift and run reports daily prior to their shift ending.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Applicant must have an unrestricted Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
