( LPN ) Licensed Practical Nurse ( Evening Shift )
South Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on the evening shift. This role offers daytime flexibility while making a meaningful impact during one of the busiest times of the day.
About the role
As an Evening Shift Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide compassionate nursing care while coordinating with physicians, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, assess, and report changes in resident condition
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants
- Educate residents and families regarding care plans
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment
Requirements
- Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
Qualifications
Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing is preferred.
Pay
$25.00–$31.00/hour (based on experience) plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Shift differentials available.
Schedule
Full-time, evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM).
