About the role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide skilled nursing care while working closely with physicians, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive exceptional care in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Assess residents and report changes in condition promptly
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Educate residents and families regarding care plans
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility standards
  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment

Requirements

  • Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position

Qualifications

Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred.

Pay

$25.00–$31.00/hour (based on experience) plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Shift differentials available.

Schedule

Full-time, 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM).
