Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care
- Coordinate care delivery within scope of practice
- Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice
- Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policy
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders
- Follow established procedures for charting and reporting all reports of incidents/accidents (patients & employees)
- Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician, and family
