About the role
Provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician within the scope of license. Assist in patient assessments and ensure patient well-being. Administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, resources, and follow-up care.
Requirements
- Current or eligible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Schedule
Full-time night shift (7p to 7a).
