LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Overview Provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician within the scope of license.Assist in patient assessments and ensure patient well-being.Administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, resources, and follow-up care. Qualifications And Skills Current or eligible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent.BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
