LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement interventions for resident care based on standards of nursing practice and principles of nursing care, in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements.
• Make daily rounds to see all residents to ascertain condition and comfort.
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Absorb and assist with restorative care in self-care and group activities.
• Maintain hand-off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs.
• Communicate with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow-through.
• Oversee direct care staff and ensure staff complete tasks and cares as assigned.

Qualifications

• Speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Ability to apply principles of basic general math.
