LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Aventura at Prospect is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for all shifts. We welcome new graduates and walk-in applicants to join our dedicated healthcare team.

About the role

As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to residents, collaborate with an outstanding interdisciplinary team, and help ensure every resident receives compassionate, high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document residents' health status, including vital signs and treatment responses
• Assist with developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans and health management
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and regulatory standards
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition
• Assist with training and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Minimum of 6 months of long-term care experience
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to providing exceptional care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential information

Pay

Up to $37.90/hour, based on experience and shift.

Schedule

• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
• Available shifts:
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Part-Time)
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Part-Time)
  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Part-Time)
• Rotating weekends
• Weekend availability required
