About the role
Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessments, and education within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to patient assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and coordinate discharge planning
- Provide treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies in accordance with policies
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in evidence-based decision-making
- Mentor new staff and students
- Ensure patient safety, promote satisfaction, and respond adaptively to patient/family needs
Qualifications
- Graduate from a specialty nursing training program
- Capable of providing compassionate, high-quality care
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
