LPN Lead - OUHC Cardiology Clinic - Full Time

About the role

We provide individualized, direct nursing care to assigned patients under the direction of a registered nurse, mid-level provider or physician. Our team works to ensure the highest quality personalized patient care.

Responsibilities

• Answers patient questions and relays critical information.
• Administers medication to patients safely.
• Completes appropriate medical/legal documentation.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education and professional development.
• Coordinates day-to-day clinical tasks to ensure efficient operation of the department.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• 2 years of LPN experience OR 1 year of LPN experience with 1 year supervisory experience.
• Preferred: Experience in Ambulatory Care.

Qualifications

• Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
