About the role

Hospice care providers are needed to assist patients and their families during end-of-life care. Responsibilities include providing compassionate care, managing patient needs, and coordinating services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hospice care services to patients and their families
  • Manage patient needs including medication administration, symptom management, and emotional support
  • Coordinate services with other healthcare professionals and community resources
  • Document patient care and communicate effectively with family members and other caregivers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, social work)
  • Current certification in hospice and palliative care (if applicable)
  • Experience in healthcare or related field preferred

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
