LPN - Injection Nurse

About the role

Park Nicollet is seeking an LPN to join their Primary Care team. The position involves partnering with the organization to enhance patient care and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Escorting patients to exam rooms and documenting necessary visit information and vitals.
• Preparation and administration of medications and immunizations as directed.
• Performing and assisting with various procedures and treatments under the guidance of clinicians.
• Maintaining the standard rooming process, including medication reconciliation, allergy reviews, immunization reconciliations, and completion of relevant forms and questionnaires.
• Maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Requirements

• BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, required and maintained.
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Maintain a current state license as a practical nurse.
• One or more years of healthcare experience, preferably in a related field.

Qualifications

This role requires a BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable. A graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing is also required, along with maintaining a current state license as a practical nurse. One or more years of healthcare experience, preferably in a related field, is desirable.

Skills

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies, procedures, and standards is essential.
