Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting staff in the provision of direct care to residents
- Affords opportunity to serve as a role model and assess caregivers' skills
- Promotes optimal care for the resident on both a formal and informal basis
- Works as liaison between staff and administration, staff and families, and staff and service providers
- Develops and coordinates community educational programs
- Directs, evaluates, and supervises all resident care
- Initiates corrective action as necessary
- Reviews residents admitted and implements Individual Service Plan
- Identifies safety hazards and initiates corrective action as necessary
- Completes reports and assignments accurately and adheres to established time schedules
Qualifications
Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Experience in assisted living or related field preferred
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of health care regulations and standards

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
