About the Role
Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, working with pediatric and/or adult patients who have complex needs such as g-tube, trach, or vent support. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide services according to prescribed orders.
- Monitor signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret patient data.
- Document nursing diagnoses and patient status.
Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN license in the practice state.
- Valid TB or Chest X-Ray.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: one year of professional nursing experience.
