Novice Nurse – Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with less than 12 months of experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient progress and intervene as needed
- Document care and collaborate with physicians
- Ensure safety in the environment
Training & Experience
- Gain hands-on, one-on-one patient care in home settings
- Includes vent/trach/g-tube management and critical thinking skills
- Receive mentorship and real-time feedback from experienced nurses
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active LPN/LVN license
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
