About the role
Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New Hampton, IA to work with Pediatric patients in their own homes. Available shifts include weekend days.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
