About the role
Maxim Healthcare in La Junta, CO is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Adult patients in their own homes. Full-time, Flexible part-time and PRN positions are available for: La Junta, Ordway, Las Animas and Lamar areas.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
- Collections, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
