About the role

The LPN - Home Health position is available for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day schedule in the Longview territory. The salary range for this position is $28.36 – $42.03 per hour, with the hiring rate dependent on various factors including education, training, work experience, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates patient care under the supervision of an RN
• Participates in the development of a patient-specific care plan
• Provides direct patient care including administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Documents patient care in health record according to department standards
• Sets priorities, requests, and accepts guidance and assistance from others to assure delivery of care in a safe and timely manner
• Affords cooperative decision making in the execution of duties

Requirements

• Accredited State Board of Nursing LPN Program
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an LPN
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs
• Basic Life Support
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse - Washington
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications
• Cooperative working and interpersonal skills
• Well organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to function independently
• Proficient with IV’s
