About the role
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care services to patients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and light housekeeping.Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting needs.
- Monitor patients' health conditions and report any changes to supervising nurses.
- Administer prescribed medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform light cleaning and organization tasks within the patient's home.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Passionate about providing compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Experience in a caregiving role preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
Skills
- Basic computer literacy.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
