LPN Home Care
About the role
Provides high quality nursing services under the direction of a Registered Nurse consistent with the agency's philosophy, policies and standards of care. Responsible for working within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act regarding judgment, nursing skills, teaching, and experience. Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and caregivers. Provides compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy. Provides treatments, documents care, administers medications as directed. Works with other members of the interdisciplinary group in order to meet the patient/family's goals for all agency programs. Participates in providing weekend and weeknight coverage to assure patient care as assigned.
Schedule
Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current North Carolina LPN license
- One year’s LPN experience; two years in an acute care, hospice, LTC, or home health setting preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency
- Own transportation
