Responsibilities

• Captures patient care using the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed or registered nurse.
• Maintains accountability and ensures patient rights and confidentiality.
• Collaborates with other departments, particularly those serving cardiac and respiratory patients in an intermediate care unit combining elements of the emergency department and intensive care unit.

Qualifications

• Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Current LPN license in the state or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• IV Certification within 1 year.
