About the role
This is a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Conduct health assessments
- Document inmate health issues
- Collaborate with healthcare staff
- Respond professionally to medical needs
- Promote a safe and respectful environment
Schedule
- Rotating shifts including every other weekend
- Weekday hours: 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- Weekend hours: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse certification
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Calm leadership abilities
- Compassionate communication
- Ability to work effectively in a secure correctional environment
