LPN Flu Nurse - Temporary
Responsibilities
Performs clinical activities which include administering vaccinations.
Captures and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees.
Requirements
- Must have current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to hire
- Must have Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
Orientation Details
All selected candidates must attend mandatory orientation:
Location: Martin North Campus (North Region) or Weston Campus - Braathen Bldg. (South Region)

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Work Experience
Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
Physical Requirements
- Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
