LPN | CMA | RMA - Farragut Family Practice

Farragut Family Practice, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join the practice and assist with clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations and procedures according to physician preferences.
• Record vital signs of patients, including pulse, blood pressure, height, etc.
• Perform appropriate procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors, etc.
• Assist physicians with procedures, administer medications, and conduct patient education.
• Handle phone nursing, including triaging, pre‑certifications, referrals, and calling in prescriptions.
• Perform clerical duties necessary for physicians to see patients; contact patients regarding test results or other related reasons as directed.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently using clinical time slots, when needed.
• Maintain stocked, neat, and clean exam rooms and common work areas on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited program in practical nursing or medical assisting.
• Current Tennessee license in Practical Nursing or nationally certified Medical Assisting certification (required).
• Preferably one year of experience in a medical office setting.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
