LPN - CCH Clinic Family Care Express - Full Time

About the role

The Clinic LPN is responsible for providing patient education and consultation on complex medical treatments and procedures. Duties include performing injection training and medication education under the supervision of a provider.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in delivering high-quality medical care in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure clear understanding of medical instructions
• Understand and apply knowledge of clinic operations and team dynamics to support overall clinic goals
• Deal with a variety of patient instructions and communicate clearly and effectively

Requirements

• Current license from the MS State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification
• CPR certification

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare settings preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of clinic procedures typically gained through education
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
• Ability to learn new skills on the job
• Understanding of cause and effect in medical scenarios
• Technique for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to report incidents and injuries using universal precautions

Pay
