About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident in the Cardiac Progressive Care unit.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision or with a Registered Nurse.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
- Ensure accountability for the quality and safety of care delivered.
- Perform duties consistent with organizational standards, mission, and values.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license, meeting state requirements.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, and kneeling.
- Basic Life Support certification; LPN-IV certification preferred or obtainable within three months.
- Experience is preferred but not required.
