LPN Behavioral Health

About the role

Lee Health is seeking an LPN to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health team at the Behavioral Health Center, 12550 New Brittany Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907. This full‑time position (Shift 1: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) offers hands‑on nursing support to patients while helping create a welcoming, supportive care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document selected tasks such as administration of treatments and medications under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Assist the registered nurse in collecting health data according to established policies.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Support the organization vision and mission.
• Use knowledge of patients’ age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
• Contribute to quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of a state‑approved vocational/practical nursing program.
• Experience: None required; qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment.
• Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date; 30‑hour IV course may be required based on specialty.
• License: Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Florida.
• Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.

Pay

$22.34 – $29.04 per hour (minimum to midpoint).

Schedule

Shift 1: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (full time).
