LPN - Bariatric Surgery
About the role
Careers With Purpose is seeking a passionate, positive, and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Bariatric Surgery Center's ambulatory nursing care team. The Bariatric Surgery Center is located at 1717 University Dr S, Fargo, ND 58103, USA.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients
- Documents a thorough medical history from patients
- Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals
- Counsels patients and family, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, must have graduated from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completed an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

Pay & Schedule
$21 - $29.50 per hour, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus available. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
