About the role

This position involves preparing and rooming patients for exams, performing laboratory procedures, assisting with procedures and surgeries, administering medications, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs and documents health information.
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic techniques.
• Aids physicians with various procedures and surgeries.
• Administers medications under physician orders.
• Provides patient education and follows through on necessary procedures.
• Communicates with healthcare team members and documents patient conditions.
• Performs advanced clinical tasks such as suturing and wound care.
• Organizes and prepares exam and lab areas.
• Communicates with patients and refers them to other services as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer skills, including electronic medical records systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Pay

$24.10 - $36.15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.
